Can you open the... can you open the... pull it back a bit.

Push, push it back. This way. Push, push it back.

[Speaker 1]
Hello. Welcome everyone. We are very happy that you are here and I am going to formally introduce you to my lama, Geshe Michael Roche, who is here with me.

Geshe Michael is a monk ordained in the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition, after 20 years of study in the monastery of Sera Mei in India. And then in the West, to tell a little bit of his story in the West, he received the Presidential Medal from the President of the United States in the White House for his good work. He is an extraordinary translator of Sanskrit and Tibetan, internationally he translated thousands of ancient Sanskrit and Tibetan writings.

His books have been published in more than 20 languages around the world. And the Diamond Cutter, a book that you saw out there, is an international bestseller. So in addition to having everything that is Tibetan Buddhism, he also knew how to enter the West and taught us this tradition.

Because until then, the Tibetan Buddhist tradition was a bit hidden. Almost all the teachings were done in Tibetan, with very precarious translations, and they were Tibetan monks who taught Westerners. And the Westerners did not quite understand what they wanted to explain to us, because they spoke with metaphors and the images that they had.

But Geshe Michael, having done this career and having done all these teachings himself, he did them personally. So when he explains them to us, it is so clear. You will see that with everyday examples and very simple ones, we can get to teachings that are so, so elevated, and that we can spend our lives reading books or listening to teachings in videos and others, and we cannot understand each other.

But when a Westerner who was immersed in this culture and had the realizations, comes and explains them to us, from there we can understand. So it is an honor for me to introduce you to my Master. I am very, very happy.

I suggest that you become vulnerable now, that you open your hearts, that you become like beginners, as if you knew absolutely nothing, and that you let these profound and powerful teachings spill over into you, and that you have realizations this very night. So I would like to play just a little song to relax you. It is written by a famous Indian composer.

His name is Johann Sebastian Bach.

[Speaker 2]
Are the boots from music rings, Where the flock in reconfiguring Drink of joy from deathless springs, As is beauty's fairest pleasure, As is wisdom's oldest treasure, Thou dost never leave thine own In the dark of choice of life. Ah, ah, ah, ah, Ah, ah, ah, ah, Ah, ah, ah, ah, Ah, ah, ah, ah, Ah, ah, ah, ah, Yea, so joy of man's desiring, And holy wisdom love flows bright, Drawn by the inner soul's aspiring, Soar toward the created light. Word of God, a fetish that fashions, With the fire of life impassioned, Striving still to truth unknown, Soaring, dying, round thy throne.

Okay, good.

[Speaker 1]
First of all, I'd like to thank Harold for coming. And especially Carola and Tomas. I don't know when we met each other.

A long time ago. New York? Oh, so almost ten years ago.

Yeah. And she came to one of our yoga trainings. And, I don't know, we meet a lot of people.

I mean, we travel to very many countries. We were just in China for a month. And next month, I think later we're going to go to Russia, Vietnam, South Africa, Congo, Colombia.

But it's not easy to remember all the people. But some people, they go home to their country. And they make some beautiful thing there.

And they help many people. And I think here in Argentina, it's one of the best examples. My goal in my life, what I like to do is to teach people to teach.

I think everyone can teach. And I think we should all learn to teach. Then I can help people.

And one of the best teachers in the world, which I helped teach, was Corona. I'll translate. And which we, Fernita's maestro in Mumbai, is Corona.

I think especially for the people who are learning to teach, it's easy with yoga or meditation to forget the world. But here, you are helping, really helping people with your hands. And I'm very happy about that.

So tonight we are going to talk about spiritual partners. So I'll tell a story. You know, people say that the Buddha came to this world.

He was born as a prince. Very, very wealthy. Then one day he saw a dead man.

And he asked his servant, what's wrong with that person? And they said, oh, this person died. And he said, what does it mean, died?

Then they explained to him, you know, the person died, and he's gone, and he can't walk anymore, and he can't talk anymore. You know, Buddha was very upset. And he thought, is there some way to change this?

Is there some way people don't have to die? And the other kinds of suffering, he saw. So then he left the palace, secretly.

And he started to study yoga, meditation. Then became enlightened. Under the Bodhi tree in India.

Enlightened means you change, your body changes. Your body turns into light. And also the body can, you can make many copies of the body.

And you can take any form you like. You can be a dog for a lonely person. You can become like Jesus.

You can visit a lonely person on a bus. You can take all kinds of forms to help people. So that's the story, the usual story.

In the monastery, after you finish Geshe. Then you are allowed to study secret bodhisattvas. Then they tell you a different story.

They say, Buddha didn't get enlightened here. He got enlightened a long time before that. Then everything he did here was just like a theater.

To show people what to do. Then of course we have to ask question, where did he become enlightened? Then they say there was another world.

And he was a good person on the other world. He meditated a lot. He prayed a lot.

He studied. He did yoga. And then one night he's almost ready to become enlightened.

He's close. Then he couldn't finish by himself. And then, there are many other Buddhas.

They are watching him. From many worlds. And then they say, oh, he got stuck.

So, they sent help. And they sent him a spiritual partner. A beautiful angel.

Her name is Tilottama. And she was like an angel. Tilottama is like an angel.

And he meditated with her. And she taught him. Then on the last night, on the last night of his enlightenment, they meditated together the whole night.

With Tilottama, his partner. And then in the morning, he became enlightened. Together.

So, in our monk's tradition, this is the real way you got enlightened. You have to have the help of a partner. Then they worked together.

Like, how do you call it? Strategic alliance. They made a strategic alliance.

And they helped many people. They worked together. Still currently.

So, the goal of spiritual partner is to find a person like that. Someone who can help you. And you help each other.

And then, if a partner helps each other, they can both become enlightened. And then they can help many people. It's almost like you are standing...

There's the earth, right? Then there's the atmosphere. And then there's the dark and the sky.

The stars. And you are standing with your partner on the atmosphere. Your feet are on the atmosphere.

And you are looking down. And you see... Like, last night we flew to Buenos Aires at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning.

It's very beautiful. You can see the small villages with the lights. Everything is dark.

[Speaker 2]
But you can see the small villages.

[Speaker 1]
Then more cities, then more cities, then Buenos Aires. So, you will stand with your partner on the atmosphere. Look down.

See all the villages and the cities. And you can see each person. And you can help them in whatever way they need.

So, this is one meaning of spiritual partner. Someone you can work together with them and help the whole world. There's another meaning of spiritual partner.

It means make the partner with spiritual method. How to find your partner. Not usual method.

It's a new method. So, I'd like to talk about that today. You can start on the first page.

Or it's page 2. I'll read the Tibetan, it's good luck. It means I want to be standing on the atmosphere with my partner.

That's all. Help people.

[Speaker 2]
Page 3.

[Speaker 1]
Page 3.

[Speaker 2]
Anybody has aspirin?

[Speaker 1]
Aspirin? Anyone has aspirin? Except them?

Except them. Tylenol? Tylenol.

[Speaker 2]
No violence. That sounds good.

[Speaker 1]
We have water here. So, I think everybody wants to save the world. Look at all the movies.

Spider-Man. Iron Man. X-Men.

Everybody wants to be the hero. What's it called? Terminators?

No. Transformers. I like that one because he's just a high school guy.

He does three things. He saves the world. He gets the girl, most beautiful.

And he gets the best car. These are the goals of life. I think it would be nice to say everybody wants to save the world.

We just don't know how. So, Iraq, Afghanistan. Everything is bad.

These things are bad. And then we see our friends die, our mother die, grandmother die. We feel like we want to do something.

But we don't know what to do. It would be nice to save the world, but we don't know what to do. I'm not like the Transformers guy.

No alien is going to come to my house. I'm not like Spider-Man. I don't have super power.

But why they make those movies? Everybody wants to save the world. We want to help the world.

But we don't know how. I can show you. And you can do it with your partner.

But first you have to find a partner. It's difficult. So I'll show you with the aspirin.

I ask you some questions. What is this thing? You can say aspirin.

Let's say I'm from another planet. Planet A. You are planet B.

We are watching you. We heard you say medicine. What is medicine?

What is the meaning of medicine? Something that takes away pain. Something that takes away sickness.

We thought that. Is aspirin medicine? What do you use it for?

Mostly headache. We are laughing at you. We can see through the roof.

We have a special telescope. We see the lady is cooking her food for her family. The kids are running around.

They start to yell. One of them falls down. And the mother starts to...

We are watching you. She does like this. She starts to go like that.

Then she goes to get this thing. Open. It's impossible.

Her hand is shaking. Because this looks very bad on her. She takes it.

Then she waits. I don't know why she waits. Sometimes she is like that.

She looks happy. Sometimes she looks... She waits 5 minutes.

Then she takes another one. Then she waits. Sometimes third one.

Sometimes happy, sometimes not. So we just have... I am representative from planet B.

They asked me to come. Government of planet B came to ask a question. What is she doing?

What happened? What is this thing? After the kids are yelling.

Then something comes here. What is that? Headache.

Then what is this for? Take away the headache? But sometimes take away the headache, sometimes not.

Am I right? Yes. Is the pill different?

Some are good pills, some are bad pills. Are the pills the same? They don't make different?

So why it works and sometimes and why it doesn't work?

[Speaker 2]
I don't understand.

[Speaker 1]
Why she takes 2, why she takes 3? I don't understand. Why?

But sometimes it doesn't stop. But the ingredients are the same. Active ingredient.

Aspirin. What do they call that? I don't know.

There is another active ingredient. Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen.

Is that in every pill? What does it do? Why do they call active ingredient?

It does something. It's activo. Then there is other part of the pill that is not activo.

It is just filler. The active ingredient is some small part. But we are confused.

Planet B people are confused. Is the active ingredient in every aspirin? Yes or no?

Yes. So why it doesn't work? When the aspirin doesn't work, is it still medicine?

It depends for whom? Not for that person. Not for this person.

It's not medicine. So if you take, if half of them take away the headache and half of them don't take away the headache, it doesn't matter, right? Like that.

It's true. You know it's true. It works sometimes.

So planet B people have a question for planet A people. Why don't you take back the aspirin to the store? Ask them to give half of the money back.

If half of them don't work. It's good, right? Should do.

Why does aspirin work on Tuesday and aspirin doesn't work on Thursday? Is there power in the aspirin to take away the headache? Is there power in the aspirin?

Is the active ingredient active? It's not. It's not because it doesn't work sometimes.

Right? Sometimes active, sometimes not. But inside the same ingredient all the time.

Am I right? So maybe the active ingredient is not in the aspirin. Maybe why the aspirin works is not in the aspirin.

Maybe the power is coming from me. Maybe the power is not coming from the aspirin. Maybe there is something in me.

That gives the aspirin power. When it takes away my headache I give the power. When it doesn't take the headache away it doesn't have the power.

I didn't give it power. We can say the power is coming this way. The power is not in the aspirin.

Is that okay?

[Speaker 2]
I think so.

[Speaker 1]
It looks like that. How to put the power in the aspirin? Who put the power in the aspirin?

How can I put power in the aspirin? Can I wish? Close my eyes?

When I have headache and the chickles are noisy and I have headache then I need to take aspirin. But first I have to put the power in the aspirin. It's coming from me, right?

So can I close my eyes? I can hold the aspirin. Please, please, please.

I want to take away my headache. I'm giving you power. Then take aspirin.

Will it work? From wishing. From wanting.

It doesn't work like that. Everybody who has a headache is wishing. But it didn't go away.

Wishing didn't give the power. I'll show you what we say. Why are we talking about this?

Why are we talking about aspirin? Because you want to find a partner. I'm trying to show you how to find a partner.

And you get enlightened together. But first you have to understand aspirin. After you find a partner then you need aspirin.

[Speaker 2]
I'll show you what we say.

[Speaker 1]
So I want the aspirin to work. The active ingredient is not active. If it's active, it will work all the time.

My planet, people, we are very curious. Why do you pay for a whole bottle of aspirin if only half of them work? It's strange.

How to give the power to the aspirin? Let's say Nimbo, he has a headache. Then I say, oh, Nimbo, I heard you have a headache.

Here, you take aspirin. It will help you. When I take the aspirin, when I let go, it puts a seed in my mind.

It puts a special seed in my mind. Deep in the mind. You can call it karma.

In India, they call it karma. It just means a seed. A seed in the mind.

When I give him aspirin, he has a headache. I say, take this aspirin. Then I let go.

It puts a seed in my mind. Then next time when I get a headache, I take aspirin out of the bottle. Then that seed opens in my mind.

This is karma. This is meaning of karma. Many people confuse what is karma.

Karma means if you are kind to somebody, it puts a seed in your mind. That's all. That's karma.

Then next time when I take aspirin, that seed opens in my mind. Then I take aspirin. My headache goes away.

The karma gave the power to the aspirin. I was kind. I was compassionate to someone else.

Then it puts a seed in my mind. That makes the active ingredient active. By itself, the active ingredient is not active.

I must have a seed in my mind. That seed gives the power. This is karma.

You have to be good to other people. Help other people. Then things will work for you.

Now, I'm supposed to be talking about partner. How to get a partner? Many people ask me.

Geshe-la, I'm looking for a boy. Then they... I don't know.

People come to the monk with a crazy question. Geshe-la, Geshe-la, I want to find a boy. What do you think, Geshe-la?

Do you think I should wear Lancome or Espelander? Which is better? Then they think the monk can tell the future.

Then they say, Geshe-la, where can I find a boy? On the internet? Or maybe I go to Calatanda yoga class?

Then they want me to tell the future. If you are a monk, you have to get ready.

[Speaker 2]
It's good if you can do some mantra. Calatanda yoga class. Yes, I see the boy.

[Speaker 1]
Where? Where is the boy?

[Speaker 2]
Internet? Not internet. Calatanda?

Calatanda!

[Speaker 1]
Not Calatanda.

[Speaker 2]
Not Calatanda.

[Speaker 1]
Not clear. Oh, Santa Carin. Oh, yeah, really.

Then I say, you go to the nursing home nursing home. Then usually the lady look at me. Geshe-la, you don't understand.

She said, no. I want a boy. Then I said, no, you don't understand.

You have to put a seed in your mind for the boy. Why do you want a boy? Then people say, I feel lonely.

I moved out of my parents' house. I got my apartment. I have to go to work every day.

I come home. Nobody is there. Just television.

Only the television. And Facebook. Then I make the food.

It takes about 30 minutes, 45 minutes. Then eating, you know, eating takes 5 minutes. Then cleaning takes 45 minutes.

One and a half hour, I am home. Alone. Nobody to talk to.

Nobody to eat dinner with me. I feel lonely. So I said, okay, then you have to put a seed in your mind by helping lonely persons.

It's the same as the aspirin. If you want the aspirin to work, you have to give it the power. How to give it power?

Help the person who has a headache. Give them aspirin. Then when you take aspirin, it will have power.

Same with the boy. Same with the partner. You want not to be lonely.

So you have to find the person who is lonely. And you help them. So you may have to live at the nursing home.

Once a week. You go for one hour. You listen to their stories.

Their stories are very boring. They forget that they told you the story 100 times. Did I tell you a word?

I told them. The boyfriend, 1950, was so handsome. We loved each other so much.

Then she told you 100 times. You listen again. Oh, really?

Then you listen. And then she'll be happy. When you help that lonely person, you put a seed in your mind.

You know sometimes people go on internet, they do find a boy. Sometimes they go internet, they don't find a boy. It's like aspirin.

Same. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

[Speaker 2]
Sometimes internet works, sometimes internet doesn't.

[Speaker 1]
You know that. Sometimes you can find a boy in yoga class. Sometimes you can't find a boy in yoga class.

It's the same. It's not coming from the yoga class. It's not coming from the internet.

It's coming from a seed in your mind. If you help old person, lonely person, then you go to internet and you will find. Then you go to yoga class and you will also find.

But it doesn't matter where you go. You see, it doesn't matter. You can use everyone.

And you will find. If you don't help lonely person, you go to the same internet, you won't find. You go to the same yoga class, they won't talk to you.

You can wear the same lipstick.

[Speaker 2]
The guy look at you.

[Speaker 1]
I like natural look. I don't like the girl who wears lipstick. So it's all depend on the seed in the mind.

[Speaker 2]
What you want.

[Speaker 1]
You put the seed in the mind. I went to China. 70 years they are not allowed to talk about spiritual thing.

Two generations. They never saw church, they never saw temple. They never read the bible, they never read the buddha.

Not allowed. In spiritual way, they are like children. They don't know anything.

Then they say, how do I... how can I find... they say, Geshe-la, teach us mantra.

They call Xing Jing or Jing Gang Jing. Xing Jing or Jing Gang Jing. Heart Sutra.

[Speaker 2]
Heart Sutra.

[Speaker 1]
Jing Gang Jing. Teach us the mantra. They don't say gati gati para gati.

Gati gati para gati. They don't say gati gati para gati. That's how we say.

Gati gati para gati. That's how we say. I said, ok, I'll teach you mantra.

You can get anything. New car. New house.

Beautiful girl. It's ok, teach us mantra. I said, ok, you have to repeat after me.

You want to try?

[Speaker 2]
You ready?

[Speaker 1]
Whatever thing you want, give to somebody else first. That's all. That's all.

They look at me, is that all? Now you have to repeat 100 times. That's all.

Whatever you want, give to somebody else first. If you are lonely, help the lonely people. Our refugees need money.

Tibetans need money. There were 100,000 refugees came out of Tibet. They need money.

He said, can you make some money for them? I said, yeah, I can make money for them. I know the mantra.

If you want money, what do you have to do? Give to other people first. With technique.

There's a technique. I will teach you this week. There's a technique.

So last year, we made a company. No, I'm sorry. We made a company to make money for the refugees.

I started with $7. Last year, it reached $200 million. Warren Buffett bought the company.

How? Just do for other people what you want. This mantra.

With technique. So this week, I think we have a business talk tomorrow? Tomorrow night.

I'll talk about money. How to make $100 million. But tonight, we are not talking about money.

We are talking about a boy. How to find a boy. You can say there are three things that you want.

Number one. You want to find him. Number two.

You want to keep him. Sometimes you find a girl and she runs away after one week. It's true, right?

Then the third problem. Sometimes they don't run away. They stay too long.

Then you don't feel happy. You become bored. Or you start fighting.

You start to fight with them. We know that. These are three problems with a relationship.

First one is you can't find them. Second one, you can't keep them. Third one, you can keep them, but it's trouble.

You know that. So you have to find a seed. All the problems in the world you can fix with a seed.

Whatever you need, if you understand seed in the mind, you can make anything. If you have some sickness, you can fix it. If you want a partner, you can find.

If you want money, you can make money. If you want to stop war, you can stop war. It's all coming from the seed.

Everything is coming from the seed. So you have to just know how to put the seed. So we talked about the seed for a partner.

You want to help the lonely people. Then tomorrow and next... we're doing a retreat.

In the retreat, you can learn about what we call farming technique. How to plant a seed in the mind. It takes a few days to explain.

But you can do it. Then you plant what you want. Anything you want.

Peaceful world. Or you just want a boyfriend. I don't think you have to make a choice.

[Speaker 2]
Some people come to me.

[Speaker 1]
They say, Is it better to plant a seed for money or is it better to plant a seed for peace? Then I say, Don't ask me stupid question. Both.

Both is better. To have money and peaceful world. It's more fun.

Have money, have girl, have strong body and have no war. Why not? Why choose one?

You can have everything. It's alright. Some people think it's wrong to have money or it's wrong to have house or something like that.

To have a small house, not too big, not too small. To have nice partner, not too loud, not too soft. To have a nice partner, not too loud, not too soft.

Be strong, be happy. Why not? These are good things.

People should be happy. I will tell you a little bit about what we are going to talk about tomorrow. How to plant a seed fast.

For something that you want. The first thing. The seed should be similar to what you want.

If you want a watermelon, you have to plant the watermelon seed. You have to. So what you plant and what you get, they should be the same.

If you want not to be lonely, you have to help the lonely people. That's the first rule. If you want money, you have to give money.

If you want peace in the world, you have to create peace inside of yourself. And you can do. That's the first rule.

Second one. Small cause makes big result. You can just help if you know the technique.

You can give somebody 100, what do you call 100 pesos? 100 pesos. And a thousand will come to you.

If you know how. Because the small seed makes the sandia, sandita, is very small. But it makes a big sandia.

So if you want to make a thousand pesos, if you know the technique, you just give 100. A thousand will come back to you. There's a technique.

So just understand small kindness makes big result. Third rule. If you make the cause, the result will come.

If you plant sandia with technique, sandia must come. Nothing can stop it. If you help the lonely people, and if you are looking for a boyfriend, it must come.

It will always come if you know the technique. Number four. If you don't know the technique, if you don't plant the seed, you cannot get a result.

If you don't help people with headache, the aspirin cannot work for you. It will never work. Not even a bottle will work.

These are the four rules about seeds. So how to use with a partner? It means find a lonely person, help them regularly, every week.

Maybe once a week. Say I will come to the nursing home every Friday. I will spend one hour with you.

I have. Old woman. Every time I'm home, I go to her.

I fix her house, paper. She always breaking the toilet. I don't know why.

So fix the toilet. And then I take her flowers. And I always take her to dinner.

We have a nice dinner. This is my special partner, karma maker. And you need one.

That's the first rule. Then you should, how do you say, think about her a lot. When you think about her, the old lady, what kind of flower I'm going to take her?

How am I going to fix her Apple computer printer if I don't know her password? He's helping me. She forgot her password.

[Speaker 2]
Because she's 85.

[Speaker 1]
If you write it down, she will also lose that. So we are trying to help her. So spend a lot of time thinking about her.

For example, when you meet a new boy or you meet a new girl, your mother say, are you sick? Your mother will ask you, are you sick? Are you sick?

No. Why you don't eat dinner? Dinner?

Oh, dinner. Then you notice the dinner. You see?

So now doing the old lady, all week. Maybe I take her roses this time. Maybe I put a gold handle on her toilet this time.

Like that. You make some plan. Each time you think about her, it puts a new seed in your mind.

With your hand, you only help her for one hour. In your mind, you help her again and again and again. Each time you think about her, it puts a new seed in your mind for the Lancôme.

For the Lancôme to work.

[Speaker 2]
You see?

[Speaker 1]
It will work. So you have to think about her a lot. Then when you go there, don't just like throw the flower on her.

Oh, here's your flower. Don't be... What do you call?

In English they say condescending.

[Speaker 2]
Oh, you are old.

[Speaker 1]
You have no teeth. I'm young. I'm going to give you one hour.

You are so lucky. Not like that. With respect.

It's my honor to come to your house. Let me put the flowers for you. Let me clean up everything.

You treat her like Dalai Lama. With respect. That creates a strong seed.

You know people who help other people. You know people who help old people. You know people who always give money to other people.

They didn't make... But they didn't make 200 million dollars. They are always broke.

And you know people who help the old people cannot find a boyfriend. It's a question of technique. You have to know the technique.

So I told you some things about technique. If you want to plant more seeds, think about her a lot. What kind of flower I'm going to take her?

Which restaurant will she like? Think about plan for her. It puts new seeds in your mind.

And then the boy will come faster. After you go to her house, come home, sit down, and think about her. I did a nice job.

You know she doesn't have a friend. And also she told me the story about her high school boyfriend one more time. I listened for one hour very carefully.

And I took her to a nice restaurant. When you think about all the good things you do, it's part of the technique. Most important part.

So I helped her. I did a good thing. When you are happy about helping, you get more seeds.

Then more seeds will come. So that's how to find a boyfriend. That's how to farm a technique.

If you don't know the technique, maybe the seed will not grow. You can put the seeds of watermelon on the floor. But it won't grow.

You have to understand how to plant it. So those are some suggestions. That's how to find him.

Are you finding him? Are you finding him? If you do those things, do you find him?

You make him. You create him. It's better.

You can make aspirin. That works. All the time.

And you make the boyfriend. I don't have time tonight, but I can teach you all the seeds. You can give him big nose or small nose.

You can give him big nose or small nose. You can give him blue eyes or brown eyes. You can fix everything.

Also, if you already have a partner, you can also change your partner. Partner is coming from you. The way they talk, the way they treat you, everything is coming from you.

For example, if the husband never listens to you, then there's a seed you have to change. The seed is in your mind. You change the seed, and they will change.

You can change anything. You can even change their appearance. That's also coming from you.

You just have to learn technique. How to keep them. People ask me, the newspaper sometimes, like in Argentina, the newspaper called me.

He said, why did you become a monk? Then I have official answer and I have unofficial answer. If it's a newspaper, I say, oh, when I was 20, my mother died, my father died, my mother died one year, in one year.

Then I went to search for the truth. Then unofficial answer. I said, why did you become monk?

I said, I'm so tired of girlfriends. He said, why? I said, I don't know.

You meet them, everything is exciting. You are writing each other poetry. You are texting all the time.

Then you get them out for dinner. For a while it's fun. Then you have your first fight.

Then you have your second fight. Then you have fighting every day. Fighting is OK.

Fighting is bad, but it's better. A little bit exciting. Worse than fighting.

Boring. The partner becomes boring. After one year, two years.

Did I tell you the story about when I was a football player for the United States? I made the goal there one time. Honey, you told me 10 times.

You told me 100 times. There's no new information. Just the old stuff.

So, how to stop that? That's also steep. You have to understand.

If you understand the seed, you can do anything.

[Speaker 2]
You can do anything.

[Speaker 1]
I had a problem with my foot. I couldn't walk. It was hereditary.

[Speaker 2]
Then we were having dinner just now.

[Speaker 1]
Carla said, what are you doing nowadays? I said, I'm doing ballet. On point.

On this foot. You can change anything. You can change everything.

So, when you meet a boy, why did you meet the boy? You went to the yoga class. The boy was there.

Why? Because of yoga? Because of yoga?

Who put the boy there? Who put the boy in the yoga class? I did.

How? How? I went to the nursing home.

[Speaker 2]
I took care of the lady.

[Speaker 1]
I thought about her all the time. New flowers. Great respect.

When I come home, I think about her all the time. I put the seed in my mind. Then I went to Canada.

And the boy is there. I made the muchacho. Okay?

You know that. Now, question for you, okay? This is serious.

Everybody wants a boy. Everybody wants a girl. Come on.

You have to pay attention. Maybe I will save you 20 years of trouble. When you plant the semilla de sandia, and the sandia will grow, what happens to the semilla?

Where is the first semilla? Gone. It's gone.

Yeah, it's disappeared. It's gone. In Buddhism, we say the birth of a thing kills a seed.

The birth of a tree kills the seed for the tree. This is nature. It's the same for a relationship.

I came to visit the... I'll tell you a story. There's a yoga teacher in New York.

She's very smart. She graduated with honors from Yale University.

[Speaker 2]
In architecture.

[Speaker 1]
Jessica Kung. She's Chinese. Then she came to me.

Jessica came to me. And she said, I need a boy. Should I look on the internet?

Should I look in the yoga class? I told her, you go to Mexico. She's a very strange student of mine.

She's like Carola. Why? They will do whatever I ask them.

They ask me for suggestions. I give suggestions. And they are very strange.

They actually do it. Then she went to the nursing home. She took care of one lady.

Then after, I think, three months, she went to Los Angeles. She taught yoga class. Class is full.

[Speaker 2]
They start the yoga.

[Speaker 1]
Then one guy came late. He came to the door. Open the door.

Then she's teaching the yoga. Then she looked. Then the guy also.

He opened the door. He looked at her. Then after, I think, three months, they called me.

You can be the priest for our wedding.

[Speaker 2]
And now they're married.

[Speaker 1]
They're a very good couple. They're very happy. Then when I saw them recently, I asked Jessica, So what happened to the old lady?

Are you still visiting her? She said, Geshe-la, I got the boy already. I said, no, you don't understand.

By visiting the old woman, you planted the seed for the boy. When you meet the boy, it kills the seed for the boy. And then the relationship must get worse.

It must go down. Because the cause is destroyed by the relationship. The cause of the watermelon is destroyed by the watermelon.

The cause for the boy is destroyed by the boy. The cause for the boy is destroyed by the boy. So I said, now you and your husband, his name is Stefan, you and your husband, now you have a new job.

You must go together to visit the old woman. As a couple. You have to keep planting seeds.

New seeds. Then the relationship stays interesting. Stays exciting.

That's how we make the relationship stay. If your relationship is getting boring, if you feel no excitement, then you must make some other person's life exciting. This is mantra.

What you want, do for somebody else. First. You want your relationship more exciting?

Then go to visit the old lady together. Take her out for a movie. They are difficult to take to a movie because they can't walk.

Also they always fall asleep halfway. It's okay. It's okay.

But then your own relationship will be exciting. I'm doing similar thing. 41 years.

Very exciting. Never stop. So you just have to plant the seed.

To make it continue. In the business. I was in China.

A newspaper interviewed me. They said to make a million dollar business is easy. But to keep it for 10 years, 20 years, this is difficult.

I said, no, it's not difficult. You give the money to poor people. You help them.

We will talk about technique tomorrow. You help them with technique. If you give 100 pesos, 1,000 will come back.

Don't eat the whole thing. Don't use the whole thing. Take 500.

Give back to the poor people. 5,000 will come. Don't eat the whole thing.

2,500. Give back. Then you turn the seeds.

Keep the seeds going. It's the same with relationships. You and your husband, or your partner, you must help other people together.

And then the relationship always exciting. Never feel bored. You have to do it.

If you don't do it, if you don't make new seeds, it must get boring. It must get old. This is seeds.

Last thing, then I take some questions. How to save the world with your partner? It's one thing to find them.

It's one thing to keep them. And it's one thing to make more and more interesting every year. So then what?

What will happen then? We will get old. Each of you will start to get old.

Maybe not boring, but old. Then one of you has to go. In America, almost everybody get divorced.

The people who don't get divorced, then one of them has to die first. It's very, very sad. They spend whole life together.

They say, oh, 30 anniversary, 40 anniversary, 50 anniversary. And then one of them will go. Then that's the most sad time.

Because the other one is left alone. They stayed with this person for 30 years, 40 years. They are like one body.

And then half the body dies.

[Speaker 2]
Then that is so sad. It's the most sad thing.

[Speaker 1]
Can we do something about that? Is it possible to change that? Because this is the big question.

The other questions are small. How to find them? How to keep them?

How to be interesting? And how to keep them alive? That's a more important question.

It's also coming from seeds. That also coming from seeds. Life itself is coming from seeds.

Every time you eat a dinner, it is coming from a seed. What seed? What's a seed for eating?

How did you get dinner? Sema? Sema?

[Speaker 2]
How do you get Sema?

[Speaker 1]
You must give food. You must give food. But you don't have to give.

The result is the watermelon is bigger than the watermelon seed. Just give somebody a little bit of food. Even just give somebody tea.

You can get 3, 4, 5 meals. But if you don't give anything to anybody, your credit card will... what's it called?

Debit card. You are entering this life with the debit card. It's called your life.

And then you spend it. Every day you spend a little bit. I have one friend.

Actually not my friend, my boss. Very wealthy woman. She is one of the owners of our company.

She told, I am the vice president. We have 10,000 workers. I am supposed to be a big man.

It took me 15 years to reach the top. Then we had a board meeting. She said, we are going to Japan to sell diamonds in Japan.

Michael, I want you to come with me. I said, yes, I can be. Then we went to Japan.

She went to a special Sephora. It's a shop for makeup. Then she said, you hold the suitcases.

I am vice president. I get to hold the suitcases. She goes into the makeup shop.

She spent two hours. I am standing in the street for two hours with a nice suit. Then she came out.

Then I look at her. I am feeling very angry. You know, in the time that she was in the makeup shop, two hours, now she is two hours older.

She got more wrinkles in the makeup shop. Even in the yoga class. You do one hour yoga class.

Your debit card went down one hour. The candle is always burning. Even in the yoga class.

You are closer to your death after the yoga class than before yoga. So what can you do? You have to charge the card.

You have to make new seeds. I tell you the best way. And this is the most important part of spiritual partner.

How to plant the seed that you and your partner never die, never lose each other. And you can help the world. How to make that seed?

Because that seed is very, very unusual. I have first question for you. Do you know anybody who made this seed?

Did you ever see such a person? Spent their whole life together? Happy?

Fun? Exciting? They are giggling like 16 years old?

Didn't get old? Didn't have to die? Did you see such a thing?

Did you hear about such a thing? I mean you can read some strange book, but I mean did you see in the newspaper anybody? Did you see the newspaper such a thing?

Does the aspirin work the same for everybody? If he has a headache and I have a headache, and we both take some aspirin, will it work the same? Not always.

Different people see different things. Same thing. Same chemical.

Same ingredient. Same active, no active. Same ingredient.

But we experience different things. His headache cure. My headache not cure.

Is the Dalai Lama getting old? I knew him when he was, I don't know, I knew him when he was 30. Is he getting old?

Looks like. But you have to say for me. To me.

When he looks in the mirror, I don't know what does he see. You see the same. Same as aspirin.

What does he see, I don't know. I know it's different. Because everyone sees different thing all the time.

It's the same with the favorite music. You have your favorite song. You play for your friend.

They say, isn't that great song? They say, you know what is the biggest insult? They say, interesting.

They say, interesting. It means, you hear different song than they hear. It's possible, Dalai Lama sees younger.

In the mirror. In the mirror. It's possible he sees older.

I don't know. What is the real one? The old one or the young one?

Which is the real Dalai Lama? The one you see or the one he sees? You can say both.

I don't know. Both are real. You see getting old.

Maybe he sees angel. I don't know.

[Speaker 2]
He sees.

[Speaker 1]
And there is no real one. There is just those two. The one he sees and the one you see.

It's the same with your partner. How to make a seed to see that partner never die? This is a Buddhist practice.

When you find your partner, everyday, when you think about them, you think, this person was sent to me. This is a real angel. It's not an accident that I met them.

It's not an accident we are together. They came to me. Probably they are on assignment.

They are supposed to come to me.

[Speaker 2]
From heaven.

[Speaker 1]
I like this one movie called Date with an Angel. It's not a great movie. It's not famous.

But I love it. One guy is having a party with his friends, boys. They are all drinking beer.

In the house. Very drunk. Then, outside, they see some light.

And then, in the swimming pool, they hear... He goes out to look what's wrong in the swimming pool. This is in the middle of the night.

He looks in the swimming pool. And there is one angel. Beautiful girl.

[Speaker 2]
She has wings.

[Speaker 1]
But she fell. She broke her wing. He takes her to the house.

He thinks he is drunk. Then, he takes care of her. The friends want to put her in the circus to make money.

He tries to protect her. It's a beautiful story. Then, later, he finds out she is supposed to come to him as his partner.

She is supposed to hide the wings. And then, she is supposed to help him. To guide him through his life.

So, if you want to see your partner like that, not get old, see your partner as an angel, this is just practice. Plant the seed. So, for example, every day, before you go to bed, there is an angel meditation.

You can do an angel meditation. And I love this meditation. I do it every day.

I do most of the day. That's why I look confused a lot. You have to think about your partner.

What suspicious thing they are doing? What are they doing?

[Speaker 2]
It's just like an angel.

[Speaker 1]
My Tibetan Lama I was in the monastery. One day he told me OK, you have to go to Bangalore. Bangalore is 6 hours on the bus.

Indian bus. Do you know Indian bus? Yes, some people have.

First of all, before the bus comes, you have to hire a small boy. You give him like 10 cents. Then when the bus comes, he will jump and climb to the window.

And he will find the only empty seat. And he will keep it for you. Then you have to fight through all the people.

He will give you the seat and you push him out the window. Then you have to try to move all the pigs and chickens. And very important, if it's the last seat, you have to check the roof.

This is where the rain is coming. And after the bus starts, you can't move. Maybe 8 hours, 9 hours.

More like this. If you are bald, it's very bad. So, my Lama said, OK, you have to go on the bus to Bangalore.

I said, why? He said, I want you to mail a letter for me. I said, Lama, you can mail a letter.

It's in 10 minutes, you can mail a letter. No, no, I want to mail from Bangalore. I said, I think you're not supposed to say no to a Lama.

I didn't teach my students that. I didn't teach my students that. But you're not supposed to say no to a Lama.

So I went. I was looking. We wanted to start a project to save all the old Tibetans.

We have 110 women working on this project. Now it's 24 years. They're saving the old books.

But we didn't have computers. Yes, at that time there was no computer in India. So I complained to my Lama.

I fought with my Lama. But I took the bus. And I went to mail the letter.

On the way to the post office. I see a small sign. A beautiful sign.

Then I meet the guy. Now we are working together for 24 years. We are saving all the Tibetan books and all the books that we have money.

So that's suspicious. You know the Lama said you have to mail the letter from Bangalore. If you think about it about your partner every night before you go to bed just think what did they do today?

What did they say today? Why did she tell me to turn left when we were supposed to turn right? What did I say?

Why did she do that? Why did he say that? Why are they angels?

Every night. That's the meditation. Isn't it?

Every night before you go to sleep you think what did my partner do today? Which was like angel. Then in the beginning you can't find very much.

But you practice. Then every night you can find more. It's also more fun to think about the good thing your partner is doing than to think about the bad thing.

And then you start to think then sometimes if you do this meditation every night you start to think maybe they are angels. And then they start to change. Like their bodies start to change.

And they become angels. They won't die. You will be like Buddha and Buddha's partner.

They are still there. They are made of light. They go on a date every day.

They stand on the atmosphere to help all the people. That's a nice relationship. It's much more fun to help people like that.

This is what you really want. Why does man and woman get together? Who started that?

Why do boys always think about girls and the girls always think about boys? We say the man has one kind of energy. The woman has the other kind of energy.

Both are enlightened energy. And to become a Buddha you need the other energy. To become Spiderman X-man or Ironman or Transformer you need the boy.

You need the energy of the woman. These two energies match each other. So do that.

And there's nothing to have a partner who is an angel and to save the world with them. There's nothing more fun than that. Nothing.

Any questions? You can ask me any question. It can be anything.

I'm a very lucky person. I'm a very lucky person.

[Speaker 2]
It's possible that I have a person that you can't see.

[Speaker 1]
I'm very lucky and very happy.

[Speaker 2]
That's all.

[Speaker 1]
Don't be afraid to ask me questions. You can spend 20 years alone. You can spend 20 years with a partner and you are not happy.

Ask the question. This is the good time. I was giving the example of the old lady that you have to help.

If it always has to be an old lady or if it can't be anybody. It could be any lonely person. Nowadays many children are lonely because the parents are too busy.

They are working. They don't have time. So it could be a child.

In America you have to be careful with children because there are all these strange laws. You have to talk to your parents. Say, can I play with my children?

Can they come to my house and play? It could be somebody who is the same age in your workplace or in your big family. Cousins and uncles.

There are many lonely people. My lama, Tibetan lama, he made a joke. He called me Mike.

Hey Mike, you know there are two good businesses in the world. He said, what are the two good businesses? He said number one is alcohol.

Selling alcohol. Then I said, lama, you never drink alcohol in your life, nothing. The Buddhist people are not allowed to drink alcohol.

What are you talking about? He said, it's a good business. What do people do when they are happy?

When they want to celebrate? They drink champagne. And when they are very unhappy, they also drink.

So everybody is drinking all the time. This is a good business. Then I said, okay lama, what's the second good business?

He said, helping lonely people. I said, why is this a good business? He said, you always have customers.

You can find everywhere. In your family, in your work, there's always lonely people. There's a reason why those people are lonely.

Usually they are angry people. Or they are unpleasant people. Or they are irritating people.

Nobody wants to be there. For us, who understand, these are the best people. We have to look for those people.

I spoke in Detroit, because after the Chevrolet company collapsed, the workers called me. They didn't give us suggestions. We had a big meeting.

And I explained to them, if you want money, you have to help the poor. If you want to be healthy, help the sick people. If you want a good partner, help the lonely people.

The retreat was three days. On the third day, one young man said, Geshe-la, Geshe-la, something great happened. I said, what happened?

I found a person. I said, what? He said, they are poor.

[Speaker 2]
They are sick.

[Speaker 1]
They are lonely. Only one person. He is so excited.

He said, I can save time. If you understand the system, if you understand the seeds, then the irritating people, poor people, sick people, they become very precious to you. You can find one if you are so happy.

So yeah, anybody. There is a special method to make the seed with yourself. There is a special method to make the seed with yourself.

But that's next time. Better with another person.

[Speaker 2]
So far, we didn't talk much about the time part. I think we will all be convinced about the fact that if you do something, you eventually get it.

[Speaker 1]
Most probably, we don't all see the fact that it's a time between those two events. I sometimes wonder, is it worth spending time about trying to track back in time where is this coming from? And the things that I am doing today, when eventually will they come?

Tomorrow? The day after? Ten years?

Good question. Can you say it? How long did it take to mature the seeds of the plant today?

Was it worth the time? you get crazy. You get scared.

Everything in Tibetan really. And they do a debate, you know, like that, 1,000 guys. Then you finish, you feel so happy.

They give you a big yellow hat.

[Speaker 2]
You give it to everybody.

[Speaker 1]
And it's supposed to relax for the rest of your life. But my teacher, he told me, OK, now you have to make a business. Just part of your examination.

Then I, I don't know, I said I don't know anything about, I don't like business. That's why I made a monastery. Then he pushed me, he said, no, no, you have to do it.

To show that you understand the seeds. So I did, OK? I went to one old monk.

I said, my mama told me I have to make money, one million dollars. For the poor people. Then I said, can you tell me how to do it?

He gave me this book, the Ankara book. Then I studied it. Then I asked the same question that you asked.

I said, Rinpoche, how long this thing? He's an old monk. If you work hard, next life.

Then I said, Rinpoche, no, no, no. I'm American. There's only one good American business left.

This is McDonald's. Why? If you order french fries around the world, any country, they will make the same taste.

And they will make it in two minutes. I said, Rinpoche, I come from America. We have two minutes french fries.

We don't have time for this life. Most American people don't really believe in this business. It's a business.

If the result doesn't come quickly, I cannot confirm that giving the money causes more money. If I help the old woman or the grandchild, and I don't get some quick progress with the boyfriend situation, if it takes one year or three years, a boy comes to me, I cannot confirm that the cause was helping the old person. So we need it to be quick.

And there are ways to make it quicker. If you don't have time to come tomorrow, I can send you the, there's an audio, free, we have thousands of free audio online. If anybody here cannot come tomorrow, you can talk to her.

They can watch it live online. They can watch it live online. You can watch tomorrow.

We are doing it now. You don't have time to watch online. You can download it.

Download it later. Yeah, okay. But there are four ways to make it faster.

If it comes fast, then belief comes. Belief. It is not the belief of faith.

It is the belief of seeing the result coming. So that, then you get excited. Then you say, oh, I can do this with other things.

You can design every part of your world. It's not just the girlfriend. It's the money.

It's your health. And it's your world. Peace in the world.

Everything you can change. It's very, very, very beautiful. And very exciting.

You can change everything. This is the old way. Take the aspirin.

Hold. Wait. Not like that.

I think after 20 years, no one will do this. They will help the sick people. And then the aspirin will work for them.

All the aspirin. We call that world Mandala. To make a world where everything works.

Every time. And to want that, to pray for that, that is Borichita. And it's possible.

The world can change. Last story. I was in China.

One guy raises his hand. One woman. She said, Geshe-la, I pay a lot of money to the hotel to come to this retreat.

I came to this retreat because I want money. Then you give me advice. You say, give away the money.

She said, that's crazy. I pay money so you can tell me to give away the money. I want to make money.

I don't want to give away the money. Then I'm like, ok, I say, how do you get rice? She said, we go to the farmer.

How does the farmer make rice? He plants the rice. Who invented that?

I don't know. Maybe a long time ago people had to look for rice. They went through the forest to look for the white rice.

Then I said, well, what do they do now? She said, hey, they plant the rice. Then I said, which is better?

Everybody in Buenos Aires should walk through the forest, look for rice? I didn't say Buenos Aires, I said Cuantos. She said, no, no, we just have to plant.

Then I said, who invented that? I don't know, some guy, he found out you take the wild rice, don't eat all of it. Save 10%.

Then what? Throw it on the ground. Are you crazy?

I want to eat. No. It's worse than that.

You have to cover it with dirt. You take the good rice and you throw it on the ground and you cover it with dirt? Are you crazy?

No, no, if you do that, you can get more rice. Then how long? Six months.

Are you crazy? Who wants to wait six months to get rice? You want me to take the rice, take 10%, which I can eat today, throw it on the ground, cover it with dirt, wait for three months, because I get more rice later?

She said, yes, that's what all the farmers do. The farmers never eat all 100%. They save 10%.

For next year. Then they make much more. Can I say, I'm telling you to do the same thing.

Then she's like, oh, I have to give away the money 10%. Give away 10% of your money. Wait.

How long you wait depends on technique. You can get it down to one day if you're really good at it, giving away money. You can make more money in the evening if you're giving the money.

But it's like playing piano. You need practice. But it's very exciting.

We had a problem in China. We don't know those people. They organized a talk.

Then when we are leaving, they give us a bill. It's like $30,000. $30,000.

Then I'm like, relax. You spent $30,000. Then I'm like, who told you to spend $30,000?

Who told you to spend $30,000? Oh, we really want to make it nice. Then I said, okay, here, we pay.

That means the flight is not direct flight. We have to stop in Taiwan in the evening. So we paid them.

We promised them the money. We did a special technique in the money. Then we left.

We stopped in Taiwan. Some people said they want to meet us. How much did they give us?

They gave us $30,000. $30,000? $32,000.

We made $2,000 profit. In one hour? Two hours?

They said, will you come and give two retreats in September? We want to bring 1,000 people to each retreat. If you know the technique, you can make fast.

Also to change the world. To stop the big problems. Death.

Poverty. Hunger. This is the way.

Look at the spider web. Okay? One more question.

Wait, you have one more question. Any more? Hi.

I have my partner. He's a great partner. He's a great guy.

He's nice, he's gorgeous. He's great. Guapo.

Guapo. We've been together like 15 years. We've been together like 15 years.

So it's a great help. So I'm at level 2. But, I don't want to go to level 3.

To help everyone. I want to. I want to get to level 3.

I want to help the world. But he doesn't want to. He's fine.

He doesn't want to go one step further. Help other people.

[Speaker 2]
It's a good question. It's a really, really good question.

[Speaker 1]
So I'll just say the question and then I can stop because it's a beautiful question. So I found a perfect, a good partner. And we are happy.

And I have no trouble keeping it. So those problems I don't have. But I would like to take the relationship to the next level.

I would like, with my partner, I would like to do something to save the world. To work with my partner to stop hunger, to stop war. And to stop death itself.

But my partner is very beautiful but he's not thinking like that. He's happy. He doesn't feel like we have to save the world together.

What can I do about that? Everything in the world is coming from our own seeds. Everything in the world is coming from our own seeds.

Everything about our partner is coming from our own seeds. So many people ask me this question. I'm interested about these things.

My husband is not interested. What should I say to him? Then I tell him, don't say anything.

Don't try to convince your partner. Don't fight with your partner. Don't talk with them.

Don't try to convince them. What you see in your partner, it is coming from you. The seed is in your mind.

It's not their problem, it's your problem. This is a very hard answer. It means everything you see in your life is coming from you.

Everything about your partner is coming from you. If they are not very interested in saving the world, that's a sandia. And you have to find the semilla of the sandia.

What is the seed for the problem you are having? The seed is in you. The seed is very big.

I'm sorry, the sandia is very big. The seed is very small. In a very small way, maybe tiny tiny way, you are resisting saving the world.

Somehow. Somehow. Then you have to be a detective.

You have to find that seed. Somewhere you have some resistance. Then break it.

Then if you stop, then he will change. Because he is not coming from his own side. He is coming from you.

So, work very hard on yourself. It's a very beautiful system. People aren't arguing with each other.

They are not trying to convince each other. They just look inside themselves. What am I doing which is similar?

It changes. Suddenly he changes. There is a guy, I can say the name, Jeff Alexander.

His wife is a very good student of mine, for a long time. He doesn't like it. He thinks all the stuff is stupid.

He came to Detroit to the talk. We had dinner after. About 100 people.

I don't know why, but they put me next to him. I think his wife wanted me to sit there. I told her about how to plant a seed like this.

Then he called me recently. He said, we are moving to Phoenix because I want to serve you. I want to build a building for you.

The husband, it's because she planted the seed. It's very beautiful.

[Speaker 2]
One more.

[Speaker 1]
Let's say, maybe one of the oldest people, I don't know.

[Speaker 2]
Well, good evening and thank you. Since maybe I am one of the oldest here, I may be able to see you. We'll see later who's older.

[Speaker 1]
Anyway, I would like to ask you a question from a different perspective.

[Speaker 2]
Throughout all your conversation and stories, I got caught with this story of your Lama asking you to go to Bangalore and the way he asked you to go.

[Speaker 1]
Then I started thinking the difference between Phoenix and goats. After all, before we become farmers, able to plant seeds, someone is a previous farmer that plants the seed through which we are able to plant that seed. And here in our culture, maybe different to the United States, we have a strong belief.

We call it God. It doesn't matter how we call it. And in many, many ways I'm very concerned how we can also have it conscious that we are part of a chain in which we will be just a small story.

Whether we reach or not through any kind of technique, whatever goal we may want, sometimes there's a difference between the goals we are seeking for and the goals that the farmer have thought for us. The same way that the lady mentioned between his farm, his capital, and herself, each one of us has a different time, and we have to cope with living on different times at the same time.

[Speaker 2]
Thank you.

[Speaker 1]
Well, first, simply from another perspective, I was very struck by the story about the lady who asks William to go to Bangalore. And then I mean that the farmer, the one who is supposed to be us and who sows seeds, is preceded by another farmer who sows us, so that we are precisely a seed. And the difference between the goals and the techniques, which may not coincide with our aspirations and the techniques to achieve them, and those of the farmer who first sowed us, and may have other aspirations in terms of what awaits us during that time, in what could be a chain in which we are simply a moment.

I also said that in our culture the concept of God exists in such a way that we know that we are in a transit. And I also spoke of the couple who may eventually be in a different moment, but that is a bit the challenge, to live with people who have different times at the same time, just to make that reflection. My teacher used to talk about this question and I said how do I remember how should I remember that there is a higher person involved?

And maybe I, like my teacher who sent me to Bangalore, there should be a higher being who is directing us, because we do not always know what we should wish for. There are wishes we don't know we are supposed to wish for. So I asked my teacher that, and he gave a beautiful answer.

He said ask your partner. Then I said why? Then I said your partner is like God.

If you do that meditation about why they are angels every day, just meditate. You don't have to believe. Just think.

Today what did he do? That was like an angel. Yesterday what did he do?

That was like an angel. Then slowly your mind starts to see them as angels. Then exciting thing when you need help and you don't even know the question to ask them.

If you ask your partner as an angel, not as a human, you just grab them, right? You just grab the partner and you say I have a question for you. Tell me what to do with my life.

And then they will give you an answer as if they are God. Because at that moment you are treating them like God. And then God comes out of them.

Because God is always there. So if you treat them like God and you ask them sincerely from inside your partner God will come and give you an answer. This is very useful.

Ok, good luck. Thank you very much. 21.00 6.00 p.m. Sunday at 5.30 p.m. I don't know if you want to go or not, but you have to go. You have to be here until 8.00 a.m. Until approximately 9.30 p.m. Any question, I will answer later. And Mercedes that you hear singing at the beginning has the CD that sells outside the New Seasons that is spectacular. He says that it is not a normal CD but for him it is the most beautiful CD that he has ever had and it is excellent, I have done it before to meditate and to do yoga.

And also, thanks to Paz, there are guitarists, I saw a guitarist in front in Castellana to sing. Everyone who has the opportunity to give a talk I would take the opportunity to give everything I could these days, including a list of problems and karmic solutions that would be very good if I gave it these days because I have nothing else to ask myself. So much now that Mercedes gave me the opportunity and I would like her to take advantage because she is going to have much better quality of questions.
